Getting to Towson
Towson is about a 30 minute run from our Columbia studio, straight up 695. We deliver all over it: the neighborhoods off Joppa Road, the streets around Towson University, Rodgers Forge, Stoneleigh, Anneslie, Idlewylde, Loch Raven Village, West Towson and the apartments and condos clustered near the courthouse and Towson Town Center.
Your delivery fee is calculated on actual drive time from Columbia, so you see the real number at checkout before you pay. Nothing is estimated and nothing gets added afterward.
What Towson orders
Towson is a college town wrapped around a county seat, and the orders reflect it. From August through May we run a steady stream of dorm and apartment deliveries for Towson University students, mostly birthday bouquets and number balloons sent by parents who live somewhere else. May brings graduation, and it is our busiest Towson week of the year by a wide margin.
The rest of the year it is family neighborhoods: first birthdays in Rodgers Forge, baby showers in Stoneleigh, retirement bouquets going to offices along Washington Avenue, and get-well and new-baby balloons headed to GBMC and St. Joseph.
Hospital tip: both GBMC and St. Joseph restrict latex on some floors. Foil balloons are almost always fine, and if you are unsure, order foil and you will not have a problem.
Ordering and timing
Order before noon and we can usually get to Towson the next day. Bouquets and single helium balloons need a couple of days at most. Garlands, arches and columns need a week, and two weeks in May.
Choose your window at checkout: a four-hour morning or afternoon block is included, a two-hour window is $50, and an exact hour is $100. Early morning, evening, Sunday and same-day are all bookable too.
Prefer to pick up? Weekday pickup at our Columbia studio is free between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Pickup is by appointment only, so book a one-hour pickup window at checkout and your order will be bagged and waiting.
