Welcome to Charm City Balloons. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Balloon Longevity

Balloons are delicate and responsive to their environment. We do not guarantee how long any balloon or balloon arrangement will last once it leaves our shop or is delivered. Longevity depends on temperature, handling, transport conditions, and display conditions. All of our decor is meant for indoor use only. Balloons will not last long outdoors, especially if placed in direct sunlight or in windy conditions.

Payment Requirements

All orders must be paid in full before any balloons are inflated. This applies whether you use balloons purchased from Charm City Balloons or provide your own.

Pick Up Policy

Your order will be completed in time for your scheduled pick up. Your order must be picked up at the scheduled time. For transport, please ensure you have a large enough vehicle with empty space, no sharp objects, and seats lowered as needed. If your balloons do not fit in your vehicle, we may not be able to arrange immediate delivery due to staff availability. If you are unsure, please ask us or schedule delivery in advance.

Customer Provided Balloons

We are happy to inflate balloons provided by the customer. Pricing is the same regardless of whether you use our balloons or your own. Payment must be made before we begin inflation. If a customer provided balloon is defective, weak, or pops during inflation, we do not replace it or issue refunds. For best results, we recommend using our balloons.

No Refunds or Returns

All sales are final. Once balloons are inflated or have left our shop, we do not offer refunds, returns, or replacements due to the fragile nature of balloons. Please handle with care. We recommend transporting balloons directly to their destination and removing them from their transport bag as soon as possible.

Order Accuracy

Please review your order carefully before submitting payment. Any changes requested after production has begun may result in additional charges.

Balloon Care Instructions

Proper care ensures the best performance from your balloons. Once balloons leave our shop, they are the customer’s responsibility.

Temperature Guidelines

Balloons are sensitive to temperature changes.

  • Cold temperatures may cause balloons to temporarily look deflated. Once they return to room temperature, they will reinflate.

  • Heat causes balloons to expand and may cause them to pop.

  • Do not leave balloons in a hot car, direct sunlight, or warm environments such as near fireplaces, space heaters, ovens, or heat vents.

  • Our decor is not recommended for outdoor use. If used outdoors, wind, sun, humidity, and surface temperatures will affect shine and overall longevity.

Environmental Factors

  • Avoid long burning or aromatic candles near your balloons. Soot from candles will stain balloons.

  • Humidity causes latex balloons to lose their shine and develop a velvety appearance. This is normal because latex balloons are biodegradable.

Transport Tips

  • Transport balloons in an air conditioned vehicle when possible.

  • Keep balloons away from sharp objects and rough surfaces.

  • Avoid pressing, squeezing, or stuffing balloons into tight spaces.

Indoor Placement

  • Keep balloons away from heat sources, drafts, sharp decor items, and rough textures.

  • Avoid placing balloons in direct sunlight or directly under lights that produce heat.

Safety Information

Child Safety and Choking Hazards

Children under 8 years old can choke on uninflated or broken balloons. Adults should supervise children at all times. Discard broken balloons immediately. Keep uninflated balloons out of reach of young children.

Helium Safety

Never inhale helium. Helium inhalation can restrict oxygen and may cause injury or death. Balloons should only be used as intended.

No Balloon Releases

Charm City Balloons does not support balloon releases. Balloon releases are illegal in the state of Maryland. Releasing balloons is unsafe for wildlife, harmful to the environment, and prohibited in many areas. Please dispose of balloons responsibly.
